The terms deep structure and surface structure were introduced by Noam Chomsky as a part of his work on transnational grammar. As per Chomsky, deep structure refers to concepts, thoughts,ideas & feelings whereas surface structure refers to the words language we use to represent the deep structure.
Filters - Seeing through the reality
Our perceptions are shaped by powerful filters that influence how we interpret reality. Once we establish an impression of our surroundings, we tend to view reality through the lens of that filter. Abstract
Psychoneuroimmunology, an evolving field, is made of three parts. Thoughts (psycho-) control the brain (neuro-) which, in turn, influences the immune system (immunology). In this article, through demonstrations, research evidence, illustrations, and live examples, we will understand how our perception and beliefs of our environment actualize our body’s ability to heal itself.
