ANIL THOMAS
About Anil - A Note.

I am deeply grateful for the journey that has brought me here and for every person who has been a part of it. What began as a curiosity for understanding the mind has slowly evolved into a lifelong commitment to learning, practicing, and sharing the tools and skills of neuro-linguistics.
I owe much of my foundation to my mentor, Dr. Richard (Dick) McHugh, whose presence shaped not just my work, but the way I experience life. Through him, and through my journey of learning from the co-creators of NLP like John Grinder, Judith DeLozier and Robert Dilts, I have had the privilege of learning from the very source of NLP.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to facilitate learning across countries and work with individuals from diverse walks of life. Each interaction has added depth to my understanding and continues to keep me grounded as a student first.
Through my books, research, podcasts, and training, my intention has always been simple, to share what I have learnt in a way that is real, usable, and meaningful.
To everyone who has trusted this work and been a part of this journey, thank you.

At The Source Of NLP
On the death of my Guru, my Inspiration - Fr Dick McHugh, I went in search of the source of NLP.
This quest led me to meet, earn and facilitate the mentorship of the Co- creator of NLP, such as Judith DeLozier, Robert Dilts and John Grinder himself. Each of them is a fountain of Knowledge and I am ever grateful to drink from this fountain.
I've also been privileged to learn from stalwarts such as Suzie Smith, Tim and Chris Halbom, Michael hall, Frank Bourke and Nora Bateson each whose unique style and charisma enriches my abilities. My giants uplift me to see the world from a new height. And I can proudly say that I stand strong and comfortably on the shoulder of my giants.
Judith DeLoizer
The First Lady Of NLP
Judith DeLozier is not someone I can easily define, and perhaps that is the most honest place to begin. To call her a co-developer of NLP feels accurate, yet incomplete. What she carries is not just knowledge, but a way of being that changes the space around her.
In her presence, nothing is forced. There is no urgency to teach, no need to impress, and yet, something within you begins to shift. She does not offer answers; she creates the space where your own answers can emerge. That, to me, is her gift.
Learning from her has never felt like acquiring something new. It feels more like remembering something I had forgotten, something simple, yet profound. Her words arrive lightly, but they stay. They return to you in moments you least expect, quietly guiding the way you see, think, and respond.
What I have come to value most is her humility. Despite everything she has contributed, she remains deeply grounded, meeting each person with warmth, presence, and respect.
In many ways, my understanding of NLP has been shaped not just by what she has taught, but by how she lives it.
I continue to learn from Judith DeLozier, not just through her words, but through her presence.
Richard Dick McHugh
In Gratitude to My Mentor
Fr. Richard “Dick” McHugh was more than a teacher to me; he was a quiet force that shaped the way I see, think, and live. To call him my mentor, guide, or inspiration feels insufficient, because what he offered went far beyond knowledge. In his presence, learning was not something taught, but something experienced. There was a certain stillness about him, a calm that grounded everyone around him, and an honesty that made you meet yourself more deeply.
I remember watching him not just for what he said, but for how he was. The way he listened, the way he held space, the way he lived his understanding, all of it became a lesson. Through him, I began to understand that answers are not given, they are realised. He showed me that clarity is not something we chase, but something we allow.
What stays with me most is his humility. Despite the depth of his knowledge, he carried himself with simplicity and grace. He taught me to accept myself fully, to trust my own process, and to remain a student of life.
Everything I carry into my work today has, in some way, been touched by him, and in many ways, continues to be guided by his presence.
In many ways, I am still learning from him today.
Aarti Asrani - A Note Of Appreciation

Aarti Asrani is someone whose journey reflects both depth and resilience. What stands out to me is not just her expertise, but the lived experience that shapes the way she works with people. There is an honesty in her approach, one that comes from having walked through her own challenges and finding her way through them.
Over the years, she has brought together multiple disciplines, from NLP and Gestalt to coaching and psychotherapy, in a way that feels integrated and practical. Her work is not limited to ideas; it translates into real change in the lives of those she works with. There is a certain clarity in how she engages with people, helping them move through limitations with awareness and intention.
What I value most is her commitment to making transformation accessible. Whether through her writing, her sessions, or her programs, there is a consistent effort to meet people where they are and support them in moving forward.
In many ways, her work reflects a balance between structure and intuition, knowledge and experience.
It is a privilege to witness the impact Aarti Asrani continues to create through her work.
